Why CrossFit?

The variety is what drew me in - weightlifting, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning. You'll never get bored!

 

Favorite Modality or Benchmark workout and why

Anything with a barbell!  Super cheesy, but weightlifting makes me feel like I can do anything. 

Favorite Cheat Food/Meal

Sweets: old fashioned donuts, chocolate chip cookies or ice creamSalty: french fries

 

What is a song you can find on your workout playlist? 
(What can a member expect to hear when you are coaching?)

I like a little bit of everything! If I'm doing a skill or lifting session, it's probably mellow rock. However, for a workout it's more likely high energy. When I'm coaching, I tend to play anything the class prefers.

 

Best advice to a new prospective member trying CrossFit
for the first time.

Come into it with an open mind, a willingness to learn and grow, and the ability to just have a fun time! I know some (or all) of it may be intimidating but with the instruction you'll receive from our coaches and the endless support from our community, you're bound to succeed!
