Strongman is the sport of moving heavy loads, long distances, quickly. Picking up heavy stuff, and putting it down. We dedicate a few hours every week to going as heavy as possible, utilizing Strongman implements and training Strongman-specific events. While we do have a group of experienced Strongman athletes attend every week, we do enjoy introducing new athletes to the sport. Just like with CrossFit, all loads and movements are universally scale-able to fit each athlete's skill level.
Strongman training uses equipment that helps athletes move large loads under less favorable setup positions than one might find with a standard barbell. This leads to more brute strength, and more PR's in your training.
